Alaa is a Syrian Journalist working in Television since 2003, he worked as a war correspondent and field producer with several international news organizations such as The Guardian, Independent, Channel 4 & CGTN covering the Syrian conflict and other developing stories in Iraq and Lebanon. Moreover, he covered Syrian talks in Geneva, Astana, and Sochi in addition to covering the UN European HQ in Geneva with a specific focus on the human rights council. He regularly participates in international panels and forums to discuss the Syrian conflict and extremism in war and talks at universities such as the university of Bilbao and Seville University.
